Painting With Ease at the Paint Lab

Let the inner artist in you out and paint whatever inspires you. Visit the Paint Lab art studio in Santa Monica and admission grants you access to their paints, brushes, and easels. Just purchase the artboard/canvas and you’re good to go. Best of all, they deal with all the cleanup afterwards.

There are two ways to enjoy painting at the Paint Lab. The first way is to have “Open Lab Time” without instruction so you can freely paint all day. The second option is to reserve an art workshop such as Portrait Painting in Oils instructed by Terry Ziegelman available on Sundays 11am-1pm or the Abstract Watercolor Painting instructed by Ioana Urma available every last Sunday of each month. Also, a fun class is Drawing Anime, Cartoons & Caricatures instructed by Ed Klautky available on Mondays 7-9pm. For beginners, Intro to Painting (Oils, Acrylics) and Intro to Drawing classes are on Sundays. Paint Lab also offers various kid and teen workshops. Check out their class schedule for more summer offerings.

For an additional $25, adults can have wine and cheese while they are painting. Also, the Paint Lab is available for special events.

Going to the Paint Lab is not only a fun and relaxing activity you can do by yourself or with your family, but you also get to create a personalized home decoration to remember your special day.

Price: Varies depending on age and instruction preferences. For Adults, range from $20-100 plus purchase of artboard or canvas. Monthly Memberships grant unlimited (no instruction) use of the studio. For art workshops, call (310)450-9200 or email info@ paintlab.net for appointments.
