Bavarian Fun in Sydney at the Löwenbräu Keller
It’s Oktoberfest all year at the Löwenbräu Keller, a bar and bistro which offers a traditional German experience right here in Sydney. This cool pub transports you to a Munich beer hall, complete with an oompah band and busty beer wenches!

As you’d expect, there’s also plenty of hearty food and amber fluid. I can’t go past the pork knuckles encased in crunchy golden pork crackling. They also serve up tasty Bavarian treats like schnitzel, spätzle, goulash, and all manner of sausages. If you’re not up for some German tucker this probably won’t be your restaurant of choice, but the finicky eaters are catered for with some calamari, fillet steak and fish and chips.
They call the bar the überbar, and with good reason too. There’s a massive selection of premium beers, and European Schnapptails for the ladies.
As you’d expect with all that beer and fine food, the atmosphere at the Löwenbräu is fantastic. So raise your steins and enjoy a great night out! Bookings are recommended as this place tends to fill quickly, especially on weekends.
