FIFA World Cup Viewing Parties at ESPN Wide World of Sports

The ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (map) at Walt Disney World Resort (map) is a licensed FIFA World Cup viewing location.  Whether you are planning to catch one game or the entire tournament, the Grill offers a great spot to grab a bite and watch the games.

Live broadcasts of all World Cup Matches televised on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 from South Africa can be seen on the seven large high-definition screens. Want a little more thrill to your viewing?  Select matches will be shown with enhanced 3D viewing.

In addition to the live updates and daily highlights on two hi-def displays in the outdoor patio seating area, a replica of the ESPN Sports Center broadcast desk will be on display, creating a great photo opportunity.

With open seating and serving a limited breakfast menu for the earliest games, The Grill will offer its usual menu of sandwiches, salads and a full bar for the remaining games daily.  Resort guests on the Disney Dining Plan will be happy to know that The Grill is accepted as a Quick-Service option.

Beginning June 26, or Round 16, and leading up to the Championship game on July 11,  ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill will hold special viewing parties with reserved seating, and an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet.  For $19.99/per person, per game (plus tax), guests can share in a variety of pub style foods, hot dogs, a salad bar, nacho bar, fruit, desserts and non-alcoholic drinks. Reservations can be made by calling 407/WDW-DINE.

Need a lift?  Guests of Walt Disney World Resorts can catch a ride to ESPN Wide World of Sports from Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.  Rides run one hour prior to the start of the first event and end 45 minutes after the completion of the last event.
