Photo Friday: Hiking Morningstar Mill
The Morningstar Mill site (map)is located in St. Catharines, Ontario, and is comprised of a working grist mill, a saw mill and blacksmith shop. Not only are the mills open for free tours, but there are some pretty great hiking trails surrounding the site. As you descend farther down into the forest, you will come across small lakes with rope swings, and if you go follow the river far enough, you’ll come across a huge waterfall that you can swim under. It is absolutely one of my favourite places in the Region.
