Aerobatics or Sightseeing with XFlight Auckland

If you are looking for a unique way of seeing the city of Auckland, or you love an adrenalin rush then you need to call XFlight!

XFlight provide aerobatic and scenic flights over Auckland in ‘the EXTRA 300′ which is famously well known for competing in the ‘Red Bull Air Race’.  The aircraft has a top speed of 400km/hr and is certified for flight up to 10 G’s so you are guaranteed of the ride of a lifetime!

The beauty of the service offered by XFlight is that you choose the ‘level’ you want your ride to be at (best to check with your stomach first!) – you can choose as gentle as a glider, or they can take you to the edge of human physical tolerance!  Thankfully, there are points in between.

The scenic flights start from NZ$349 per person for a 30 minute high speed tour of the harbour and waterfront to NZ$499 per person for an extended tour of 45 minutes.

You can also choose one of their four aerobatic flight options, these start at NZ$295 for their ‘basic’ flight which includes loops, dives and rolls to their ‘unlimited’ flight which is not for the fainthearted – during the 20 minute flight you will experience the ultimate ride, XFlight describe it as ‘an unrivalled sensory onslaught’…….that will either fill you with excitement…..or fear!

You will of course be pleased to know that all of the pilots are experienced aerobatic competition flyers and are fully trained commercial pilots qualified as Aerobatic Flight Instructors – so not only will they ensure you have a ‘safe’ ride of a lifetime, they can also teach you to fly upside down!
