The Scooper Bowl: Boston’s All You Can Eat Ice Cream Festival

Indulge in as much of your favorite cold, creamy treats as you like at the 28th annual Scooper Bowl which will be held at Boston’s City Plaza (Map) on Tuesday, June 8-Thursday, June 10, 2010. There will be more than 30 flavors of ice cream, sorbet, gelato and frozen yogurt available to sample from some of the nation’s best ice cream makers . This year’s line-up includes Boston Cream Pie from Ben & Jerry’s, Blood Orange Sorbet from Ciao Bella Gelato, and Superfudge Truffle from Baskin Robbins. Clearly, this is not the time to count calories!

The Scooper Bowl will run from noon- 8PM each day, rain or shine. And along with sampling some terrific ice cream, there will be live music and entertainment scheduled throughout the day. Admission is $8 for adults and kids ages 10 and over, $4 for kids ages 3-9, and free for kids under age 3. All proceeds from the Scooper Bowl benefit the Dana Faber Cancer Institute.
