A Citizen of the World – A Resident of Toronto
A city is for exploring. There is always more one can do, see and learn. Each city has a pulse and a unique energy – and Toronto is no different.
Toronto has been my home for 30+ years, and I am still, each and every day, discovering all that the city has to offer. After living in two of the most dynamic cities in the world, New York and London, I returned to my childhood home of Toronto 8 years ago. People to this day ask me how it is possible that I am not “bored” in Toronto after my experience outside of Canada. My response is always the same … Toronto has all of the characteristics that a city needs in order to engage its residents and its visitors. It has great people, culture, restaurants, sports, public spaces, art, architecture, services, diversity, energy … and the list goes on.
I look at Toronto with the same intrigue and excitement for discovery as I do when traveling anywhere else in the world. I have always found that my experience visiting a city is enhanced by recommendations from “people in the know”. Consider me your “person in the know” for Toronto. I look forward to sharing my continued discovery of Toronto with you through PlanetEye Traveler.
