Deals and Packages for Summer Travel Throughout the South

It’s not that much longer until Memorial Day weekend, the official start to summer. Don’t let the season pass you by without at least taking one getaway. And with all of the deals and packages offered, you’ll find there’s no problem saving money.

Thinking about visiting Arkansas, but don’t know exactly where yet? Check out all of the deals available throughout the entire state. You might be inspired to visit more than once this summer.
Cabot Lodge (map) in Jackson, Miss., has various packages that include a Pick and Play Golf, which allows you to chose from five different courses. The How Sweet It Is! romance package offers champagne and chocolate upon arrival.
The New Orleans Marriott Metairie at Lakeway (map) has packages for everyone. There’s the Escape! Shopping package that has a $50 gift certificate to Lakeside Mall (map). You’ll also discover an Escape! Family package that includes a in-room movie.
Ever wanted to go river rafting in West Virginia? You might get your chance if you take advantage of The Resort at Glade Springs’ (map- Daniels) Whitewater Rafting package. This particular deal also include breakfast, and is available May 23 – August 31.
Spend some quality family time in Lanier, Ga., with the Family Escapes package offered by Lake Lanier Islands Resort (map). Everyone will enjoy breakfast, and then having fun on the beach and the waterpark.
Costa d’ Este Beach Resort (map) in Vero Beach, Fla., has a Sea and Scene package which includes a $50 nightly resort credit and more.
