Come Join the Efforts of World Fest
Eat and play while supporting the environmental efforts of World Fest, the largest Earth Day celebration in Los Angeles. The solar-powered event brings live music and over 100 environmental exhibitors to spread eco-friendly practices. You can also expect a variety of vegetarian cuisine from all over the world at their food court. All family members are welcome, even the pets.
One of the main purposes of the festival is to spread awareness on what we can do to reduce our negative impact on the environment. There will be many speakers and exhibitors encouraging on using techniques such as using alternative energy sources or have less wastful daily practices. The EcoTent will hold speaker presentations on how to have sustainable living and what we can do about the environmental issues of today. In the center of the festival will be various exhibitors, showing how their company is helping to save the environment. Such companies include Environgentle that has many organic and recycled products for sale. Another eco-friendly business is EcoConsultants, Inc. who will advertise their power engineering so that customers can save money using solar energy instead of electric. Another exhibitor will be Hybrid Light, whose solar powered flashlight comes with a lifetime warranty.
World fest is not just about the wellbeing of the environment, but also for our own bodies. Like the EcoTent, Healthy Hut will also have discussions about current issues. However, they will focus on how we can improve our health such as exercising with techniques such as yoga. They will also talk about meditation and how to cook a healthy meal. Exhibitors include vegetarian food products such as Farm Fresh To You and Gobble Green. There will also be treatment services like those provided by the KI Energy World and Heal & Soul Acupuncture Health Solutions.
This festival is also about the wellbeing of all animals. The festival will have animal adoptions available ranging from dogs and cats to rabbits. There will also be a BarkFest section of the festival so that dogs may roam leash-free. Exhibitors for animals include the ACI (Anima Cruelty Investigations), FARM (Farm Animal Rights Movement), Pet Orphans of Southern California, and Mercy for Animals.
Live music will take place in the Main Stage and Earth Lounge. Adults will be able to enjoy the Oasis Beer & Wine Garden while the children can have fun activities at Kid’s World. So come join the festival and their mission for peace between the world and humanity.
