The Niagara SkyWheel (map) is one of the newest attractions to be added on Clifton Hill, and it seems like all the cool tourist cities are adding one of these giant wheels these days.
The view from this ferris wheel is pretty much unprecedented, as not only do you have a great view of Niagara Falls, you have a pretty great view of the entire Niagara Region. And if you time your ride correctly, you might be able to get up on the SkyWheel during the fireworks that take place every weekend in the summer time.
Admission to the SkyWheel is $9.99 for adults, and $5.99 for children. Each gondola can fit up to six people, and the wheel itself is 53 metres tall. The ride lasts for approximately 10 minutes.
At a buck a minute the price is a little steep, but let’s face it, you won’t find a view like this anywhere else.
