Weather Plays Bigger Part in Vacation Planning
One factor that can play a big part in planning a vacation is the weather. Whether it is the rainy season or the hottest time of the year, can influence when to visit your selected destination.
The Weather Channel has introduced an that combines weather information for certain times of the year, called climate snapshots, helping you to select the warmest, driest and coldest times.
Along with average temperatures, guests can even determine average sunny days at their chosen location. In addition to this information, travelers can also receive the traditional daily, 10-day and monthly weather outlooks.
The site recently added in Florida () and in California () among their destination guides. Along with other helpful travel information provided in partnership with Frommer’s Travel Guides, the “Best Time to Visit” data can be found under the Planning a Trip section.
Knowing what to expect, weather-wise, can certainly helps me with packing, planning outdoor events and those, “Plan B” rainy day activities. Seeing a whole row of bright yellow suns also acts as a reminder for me to pick up some extra sunscreen, but just in case, I always throw in the rain ponchos.
