Have a Hopping Good Time at Bunny Bounce
Have a hopping good time at this year’s Bunny Bounce at Woodland Park Zoo. The fun-filled day of activities is planned with kids eight and under in mind, and offers egg hunts, arts and crafts, bunny encounters, and egg-citing zoo programs.
Egg hunts are scheduled based on age groups, and are on a first-come, first-served bases. Children should bring their own bag or basket for the hunt.
Toddlers (ages 3 and under) can hunt for eggs any time in the picnic shelter area. The toddler hunt is set up on a self-serve basis. Kids are then grouped into two age groups, ages 3-5 and 6-8, with organized hunts running every half hour between 10 am – noon, and 1-2 pm.
The day’s fun isn’t just for the kids! Also on the day’s agenda is a special Easter Basket Enrichment for the animals. These special treats will be distributed to the zoo’s gorillas, elephants, grizzly bears, snow leopard, orangutans, jaguar, tapir and lots more. Watch the animals have just as much fun with their treats as the kids do with theirs.
