Manly Pavilion Reinvented as Fine Dining Restaurant

Manly’s original bathers pavilion has been reborn as the beachside suburb’s hottest new dining destination. The Manly Pavilion Dining Room & Bar has ocean views to die for, and culinary cred befitting its location.

On entering it’s hard to remember that this site was one the city’s baths. Now the space has grand ceilings, an Italian marbled balcony, and a lavish dining area. The casual beach vibe is happily intact though, a real plus for diners looking to escape the pretentions that often come with inner city dining.

The owners have assembled an enviable staff including chefs Jonathan Barthelmess and James Parry,ex-zeta Bar cocktail guru Grant Collins, and ex-Astral sommelier Michael Watts. The dishes are inspired by the Mediterranean, and as you eat them looking out at the beach you could almost convince yourself that you’re there.
