Lisbon celebrates Spring
Despite the bad weather, Spring will come, according to the calendar, next 21st of March. The sun may not be shinning, the flowers may not be blooming and the bee may not be as happy as last year, but we are celebrating Spring.
1-Â Â Â Â Â Limpar Portugal (Cleaning Portugal) is an ambitious project that aims cleaning Portugal forests in one day. They are counting with the volunteer help of thousands of people. To take part, you should log in to .
2-     Sunday is Forest and Tree Day and Poetry Day as well. To celebrate, Politécnica Museum and Jardim Botânico () will be presenting activities from 10am with organized visits, poetry reading and Pic-Nic lunch. You should bring your own food.
3-Â Â Â Â Â At the exquisite Gulbenkian gardens, in Lisbon centre (), Spring will be welcomed with drawings in the middle of the trees, from 10h30am until 5h30pm.
4-     At Oeiras (), Spring will be celebrated with a festival dedicated to the five elements – sports, music, ecology, solidarity and health. At Oeiras gardens many will be the activities like concerts, paintball, cycle karts, climbing among many others. Starts Friday at 5pm and goes on until Sunday midnight.
