LA Beer Fest

In a festival dedicated to one of the world’s most popular beverages, the annual LA Beer Fest promises to be a sold out event once again.  With a mix of quality beer and quality entertainment, it makes a great spring weekend activity.

Here is what this year’s LA Beer Fest has in store:

The Beer

International beers including popular favorites and uncommon brands from Italy, Japan, Thailand, and Hawaii.  Domestic American favorites will include Newcastle and Samuel Adams.

The Food

Lots of beer-friendly food accompany your beer selections.

The Music

The first session will have the rock ‘n roll band Petty Cash.  Dressing in black honor of the Johnny Cash songs they will perform, the band also covers Tom Petty songs. They have performed with popular music artists Pink, Foo Fighters, Paramore and more.

The second session will have music by 40 oz. to Freedom, dubbed “The Ultimate Sublime tribute band”.

Admission: $40, includes unlimited 4 oz. pours.  Tickets must be purchased online.  Act fast — this event sells out.

Date & Time:  Saturday, April 10, 2010; Session 1 1-4pm and Session 2 5-8pm

Location: Sony Studios, 10202 W Washington Blvd, Culver City

The LA Beer Fest is hosted by DrinkEatPlay, the same people who create other social and tasty events, including the LA Sake Fest.
