Get Your Geek on with Solar Powered Fashion
In honor of , we bring to you the ultimate in tech fashion.
This pink wonder is the creation of Cornell University student, Abbey Liebman, who debuted this solar powered dress on the runway last week at the 26th Annual Cornell League fashion show. Only a senior at Cornell, Ms. Liebman has captured the tech and fashion worlds by using ultrathin flexible solar cells in the design allowing the dress to charge phones, iPods and other handheld devices. The technology portion is hidden in the waist, so only you will know that you are getting your geek on.
This dress is part of Liebman’s line, Abby Rachel, that highlights her love for the southwest and, as you can see, her love for technology.
