Even Little Leprechans Will Love St. Patrick’s Day at Disney

When we think about celebrating St. Patrick’s Day a few things immediately come to mind.  Few of those include children. Raglan Road Restaurant in Downtown Disney has planned a celebration that includes the kids.

previous post discussed this charming Irish restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort (map).  Now news from Orlando Sentinel shares that Raglan Road has planned all day family fun complete with traditional food and entertainment.

Beginning at 11:00 am on March 17, adult guests can pay a $10.00 cover charge and receive a wristband, allowing them to come and go throughout the day. Children under 18, pay no cover.

Live musical entertainment begins at noon with Creel and Danielle and ends with the U2 cover band, Elevation U2, performing from 10:00 pm until close. Dance troupes will entertain at various times.

Guests will have an opportunity to win prizes by participating in several competitions and contests, including “So You Think You Can River Dance”.

Diners can select from the menu, which offers a wide selection of traditional Irish dishes. All I can say is save room for dessert.  Advance reservations will not be accepted on this day.

Wear your green, grab a wristband and have fun all St. Patrick’s Day.
