Seattle’s Gem of a Show

The International Gem & Jewelry Show rolls into town, full of bling sure to turn your head.  It’s the perfect opportunity to make those special purchases for upcoming special events like Mother’s Day and graduation.

gems and jewelry Divided into two sections, one for the trade and one for consumers, the show features an enviable selection of gems, minerals, and jewelry.  The selection includes the traditional diamonds and pearls, watches, antique, estate and one-of-a-kind pieces, and inexpensive fashion pieces.  Loose stones as well finished pieces are available, and if you make jewelry yourself, you’ll enjoy the selection of beads, findings and other supplies.

The show prides itself on offering the best selection and highest quality at the lowest prices, whether you’re buying retail or wholesale.  With ;prices from $5 to $500,000, there really is something for every budget!

Location:  Seattle Center Exhibition Hall and Northwest Rooms, Mercer Street at Third Avenue (map)

Date & Time:  March 26-28th, 2010.  Friday noon – 6 pm, Saturday 10 am – 6 pm, and Sunday 11 am – 5 pm

Tickets:  $8 admission is good for all three days.  Tickets can be purchased at the show, cash only.  There are also discount coupons available.  Children under 2 are FREE, but seriously – do you want to walk the show with an infant.

Show tip:  Do you research before the show, so that you know your prices and are an informed buyer.  The selections can be overwhelming, so set a budget so you won’t get carried away.
