Try Wine Tasting this Weekend

If you enjoy wine tasting, but think you have to drive up to Napa Valley for great wine, think again! There are some amazing wineries and wine bars right here in Orange County.

Laguna Coast Winery, 2133 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach (map)

Marlowe and Darren Huber established their first winery in 1994 in Vancouver, Canada, then moved to Orange County to open the Laguna Canyon Winery.  The Huber’s selectively source out the highest quality grapes primarily from vineyards in Sonoma and Napa Valley, and focus on producing premium wines with unique character and taste.

The tasting room is open Tuesday – Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The winery also available for special events.

Versai the Wine Bar, 18248 Imperial Highway in Yorba Linda (map)

Whether you are a novice or an experienced sommelier, the Versai Wine Bar staff will guide you as needed, and offer education about everything from the grapes to how to pair each wine perfectly with a meal. They offer a variety of wines from all over the world, for a well-rounded wine tasting experience.  Versai the Wine Bar also serves specialty beers.

The wine bar is open Monday – Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

ENO Wine Rooms, One Ritz-Carlton Drive in the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel (map)

Perhaps the most luxurious wine bar in Southern California, the ENO wine room in the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel offers 500 varieties of wine in 1,500 bottles.  Also enjoy their rotating selection of 50 cheeses from around the United States served with freshly baked breads, Spanish Marcona almonds, and olives tossed in olive oil and rosemary. Also be sure to try their artisan chocolates!

Eno is open Tuesday – Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday – Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
