Dance Music Weekend Guide to CMF

The Canadian Music Fest is currently on day 3 of 5 featuring 700 bands playing at 45 different venues around the City of Toronto. For lovers of electronic music, this weekend guide is for you. Some amazing well-known DJ’s from around the world are going to be in Toronto this weekend featuring their energetic DJ sets in some of Toronto’s best nightclubs.

A-Trak March 13

“No longer is it a crime to mash a hip-hop acapella into a techno track. In this arena, A-Trak, aka Alain Macklovitch, leads the pack. The 25 year-old Montreal native rides the line between hip-hop and electronic beats in a refreshing hybrid of everything ass-shaking.” (BPM Magazine, issue 86)

A-Trak is most well known for his stadium rocking abilities from touring with Kanye West, then jumping back into his beat-pumping club sets touring the world. A-Trak founded the label Fool’s Gold in 2007 with a mission to incorporate all aspects of club music.

A-Trak will be playing this Saturday at Sound Academy (map).
