Alice in Wonderland in IMAX 3D

The Pacific Science Center offers movie lovers a chance to experience Alice in Wonderland on the largest screen in Seattle, and with 3D technology this means you’ll feel like you’re falling down the rabbit hole along with Alice.  And, it means an opportunity to be up close and personal with Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.

As with any Tim Burton directed film, you can expect some imaginative twists on a familiar story.  In this telling of the story, 19-year-old Alice returns to the fantasy land that she first experienced as a child, reuniting with some childhood friends – the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, and the Cheshire Cat, among others.  Alice’s return to Wonderland is a journey of self discovery, a matter of growing up and finding her true destiny, with plenty of exciting adventures along the way.

In additional to Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, the film features Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Crispin Glover as the Knave of Hearts, and Mia Wasikowska as Alice.

The film is rated PG for fantasy action/violence involving scary images and situations, and for a smoking caterpillar.
