Final Month for Twilight Package at Port Ludlow
Now in its final month, the popular “Twilight” promotion at shows the world (and locals too) why the Olympic Peninsula is such a special place.
The resort is about an hour drive from , the quiet rural city made famous in Stephanie Meyer’s best selling Twilight series and subsequent movies. Although the films weren’t filmed in Forks, there are plenty of themed opportunities for fan. From maps with special Twilight locations (for example: the Vampire baseball field, Forks Community Hospital where Dr. Cullen worked, and Swan House where Bella lived), to themed shopping and dining, the city is capitalizing on the interest in vampire literature.
The Twilight Package includes:
- Overnight accommodations, double occupancy, featuring special Twilight themed bedding and bath amenities.
- A “Cullen-airy Delight” dinner for two featuring: Vegetarian Vampire Salad, New Moon Pasta, and Forbidden Fruit sorbet.

Port Ludlow is a great getaway spot, close enough to the city to be reached easily, yet far enough away to leave the demands of the city behind to focus on a slower, more relaxed pace. From downtown, take the Bainbridge Island ferry, a pleasant half hour trip and then another half hour drive. If you’re coming from south of Seattle, or would simply prefer to drive, you can make the trip across the Narrows Bridge and then up the west side of the Puget Sound. Allow bout two hours from Seattle.
