Our Lady Peace, Hedley, k-os, and 700 more at CMF 2010
The 2010 Canadian Music Fest is back in Toronto from March 10-14th featuring over 700 bands at 45 different venues around the city featuring full access with one wristband. Now in its 28th year, Canadian Music Week was created to bring together sound recording, new technology, and broadcasting for a spectacular 5-day event.
If you go, concertgoers have a few wristband choices; the Canadian Music Fest 5-day Wristband gives you access to over 700 new local and international artists at every venue in the city for only $60. This wristband also gives you access to exclusive gigs, afternoon shows, and after parties. The VIP Wristband has all of the same elements as the regular 5-day wristband, except you do not have to wait in any lines, you get an official 2010 Canadian Music Fest t-shirt, priority access to club showcases, festival film screenings, selected Celebrity Interviews, the CMW Kick-Off party on March 10th, and much more for $150. 1-day Festival Wristbands are also available for $30 for those only interested in a few bands.
To have a successful Canadian Music Fest experience, make sure you check the schedules in advance and plan your week accordingly so you can see as many bands as possible. Make sure you show up early to any shows so you don’t get left in the cold with just a regular wristband; venues are subject to capacity. Many clubs are serving until 4 AM, so get your beauty sleep and take advantage of the extended hours.

I just Hedley play for the first time at one of the Olympics medal ceremonies and then again on closing night. They are a fabulous band!
George Reefah y’all. Toronto’s finest!
