Warm Up with These Packages and Deals in the South

Don’t let the cold weather get you down, because warmer weather will be here soon. In the meantime, you can “warm up” to travel throughout the South with some of these deals and packages.

• Escape to Waldorf Astoria Orlando (map) with their Winter Escape package that has daily breakfast for two and a $50 resort credit for every second night stayed. There’s also the Grand Getaway package which includes complimentary valet parking and a $100 daily resort credit. Florida residents might want to consider the property’s Florida Resident Special.
• And speaking of specials for Florida residents, the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort (map) is offering residents one-night accommodation with complimentary room upgrade to pool view, complimentary breakfast buffet for four (two adults and two children, 12 and under) and more.
• Hotel Palomar Resort Dallas (map) has a “St. Patrick’s Package,” good March 11-17 that includes overnight accommodations, along with food and fun at Central 214.
• Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa (map) in Asheville, N.C., honors those serving in the military with their “Rekindle the Romance” Military Appreciation package, through April 15. This includes spa day passes, $50 Grove Park Inn gift card and much more. A valid military-I.D. must be shown at check-in.
• The Inn of Fifth (map) in Naples, Fla., is offering a “Triple Your Luck” package during St. Patrick’s week, March 14-21. The package features one night accommodation, one 60-minute spa treatment and a $20 gift card to McCabe’s Irish Pub (map).
• You can still enjoy the $19.09 Founders package at various properties in Palm Beach County, Fla. Great deals for a quick getaway.
