Istanbul in Lisbon

Istanbul is a fabulous city. The only that connects two continents, Asian and European, building a bridge between them both. The city has a long history with over 500 thousand years, with infinite cultural influences. This year, Istanbul is also the European Capital of Culture. And what has it all to do with Lisbon, you may ask? Simple, Centro Cultural de Belém (map), the most important Lisbon Cultural Center, has invited all those in Lisbon to visit the contemporary Turkish arts and culture through its most unique city.

There will be two different expositions (photography and video), cinema, conferences, concerts, workshops and many other things. And some obvious literary events.

See program here.
