Restaurant Week Takes Over Orange County!

From Anaheim to Laguna Beach, over 90 local restaurants will offer their chef’s finest creations for lunch and dinner during Orange County’s Restaurant Week.  During the week of February 28-March 6, restaurants will have special lunch and dinner menus designed just for Restaurant Week diners.

Mexican, Italian, Sushi, Bar & Grill… with so many restaurants and styles to choose from, it can be hard to decide!  Here are a few recommendations to narrow down the list.

118 Degrees is a raw food restaurant, so their dinner menu ($20) for Orange County Restaurant week is great if you’re a vegan or if you just want to try some upscale organic food!

Drink – Glass of House Organic Wine or House Specialty Juice

Appetizer – Pesto Stuffed Mushrooms with Red Bell Pepper Puree

Entrées (with Side Caesar Salad) – Choice of:  Tapas Platter featuring Spanish Empenada with Spicy Cheese, Chipotle, Marinated Mushrooms and Avocado Lime Sauce, Served Warm with Mole, Enchilada with Fresh Spanish Vegetables, or 118 Sampler Platter with Olive Pizetta, Coconut Ceviche and Living Lasagna

To Finish – Chocolate Ganache with Berry Puree or Poached Pear in Cinnamon Syrah Sauce

The Geisha House is a modern Japanese restaurant, sushi bar, and sake lounge with locations in Los Angeles and Atlanta as well as Orange County.  There are two lunch menus ($10 & $15) and two dinner menus ($20 & $30) to choose from.  The 3-course lunch menu is great for a quick meal between business meetings ($10)!

Starter - Miso Soup with Tofu & Green Scallion

Appetizer - Choose Mixed Greens with Soy Ginger Dressing, or Seaweed Cucumber Salad

Entree - Choose Chicken Karage with Spicy and Sweet Sauce, Call “911” Spicy Tuna Roll, or the Hollywood Roll (Crab, Avocado and Cucumber Tempura Style, Topped with Eel Sauce)

If you are looking for a good Prime rib or marinated tri tip, look no farther!  The Newport Rib Company is offering a wide selection of entrees with their dinner menu ($20).

Appetizer - Choice of Fresh Grilled Artichoke, BBQ Chop House Salad with homemade dressing, House Salad with your choice of dressing, Spinach and Artichoke Dip with tortilla chips, 1/2 brick of fried onion straws served with Rib Company BBQ sauce

Entree – (All entrées are served with your choice of 2 side items, fresh fruit, with cornbread and honey butter)

Choice of Baby Back Ribs, Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Marinated Roasted Tri Tip, Grilled Salmon topped with your choice of sauce, Lemon Garlic Chicken Breast with sautéed mushrooms, BBQ Chopped salad, Roasted Tri-Tip Salad, Spinach Salad, or Blackened Chicken with fettuccini pasta
