Cuffs-An Irish Bar in Boston’s Back Bay Hotel

Raise your glass of Guiness stout  in honor of St. Patrick’s Day at Cuffs an Irish bar  located in The Back Bay Hotel (350 Stuart St., Boston, 617-266-7200)(Map), formerly Jurys Boston,  and now part of the Dublin-based luxury hotel group, the Doyle Collection. “Book-em” really takes on new meaning here- the hotel  is located in what was once Boston’s police headquarters building.

Cuffs will celebrate  St. Paddy’s Day, all day, March 17th, in fine Irish style with traditional fare that has a modern twist. Drink eats on offer will include  an Irish American toastie ($6) with mushrooms and  blue cheese and  Guiness- poached prawns with a whiskey dip ($11).  And of course you can drink the beer in your glass!  Diners will find a little slice of the ol’ sod in the lamb chop and Irish stew ($16) or the Dublin Coddle ($12, a casserole made with grilled pork sausage and vegetables.
