Think Pink at Four Seasons Palm Beach

Pink is all around. From your bright pink nail polish to the pastels lining your closet, pink brings a feeling of love, femininity and beauty to your surroundings. So when you are surrounded by an exhibit of everything pink, good feelings arise and that is exactly what will happen when you enter the Four Seasons from now until March 16.

Gavlak Gallery, one of Palm Beaches leading dealers of contemporary art, has put together an exhibition showcasing both emerging and established artists’ work in The Living Room located at Four Seasons. This has been organized by art collector and curator Beth Rudin DeWoody. This exhibit features 30 works by 23 artists and looks at the various forms of art (mixed media to sculpture) and how it [pink] is interpreted by each artist.  If you are unable to make it to the Four Seasons, there will be a larger exhibit at Gavlak Gallery on Worth Ave. Artists to be featured include Jose Alvarez, Susan Anderson, Margaret Evangeline and more.

On Tuesdays, DeWoody, Sarah Gavlak and other Think Pink artists will host Think Pink Tuesdays. Enjoy a guided walk through and discussion of the show. The walk through starts at 4pm, but guests are invited to arrive early.

Since everyone is in the ‘get pink’ mode, the bar and spa will join in the festivities. The bar is offering pink cocktails like the Pink Ladies and Cosmopolitan. The spa will offer 2 treatments. The first is Pink Body Bliss ($150) for relaxation, exfoliation with organic pink sea salt, of course, and a massage. The second being Pretty in Pink ($120), pretty in pink mani and pedi with pink sea salt and pink grapefruit. Now, give me one of the pink cocktails during my treatment and all will be good.

When you “think pink,” there is one non-profit that comes to mind, so it is no surprise that partial proceeds from the sales will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. That includes the works of art, the cocktails and the spa treatments.

A luxurious manicure and pedicure using a pink sea salt scrub followed by a hand and foot massage using a blend of pink grapefruit oil and finished with an application of “Pretty in Pink” nail polish.
