Valentine Treats for the Beast in Your Life

At Woodland Park Zoo Valentine’s Day is not all hearts and flowers.  In fact, it’s herbal bouquets, heart-shaped steaks, hear-shaped ice pops made of fruit juice, honey, strawberries and cranberries, all served up with a big dose of love.  The fun holiday treats for zoo residents are part of special enrichment programs which help promote natural animal behavior and keep the animals mentally stimulated, while also keeping zoo visitors engaged.
