A Toast to Valentine’s Day

Everything’s better with champagne, and you can find out all about the mystery behind the sexy bubbles with Sparkling Wine 101, a fun class offered by Waterfront Seafood Grill.

This sparkling event is part of the Waterfront’s Wine Education series.  You’ll learn the versatility of champagne and sparkling wines, how it’s made, why it bubbles, and what it pairs best with.  (I personally think champagne goes with everything!)  There will be a blind tasting of five different sparkling wines, providing a chance to test your palate.  I’ve done a blind tasting of this type before, and was surprised what I really like when the label was hidden.

This is a perfect event to take your Valentine to, with time for tasting and toasting mixed in with a little bit of wine education.  Or attend yourself so you can really impress on your next date.

Date & Time:  Sparkling Wine 101 is offered Saturday, February 13th, 2010, 3:30 –5:30 pm.  Waterfront Seafood Grill is open Sunday – Thursday, 5-10 pm, and Friday & Saturday till 11 pm.
