Amsterdam Restaurant Week

It is that time of year again: Amsterdam Restaurant Week. This is your opportunity to try new restaurants or go back to your old favourites at a fabulous price.

Last year, I had lunch in Dorrius Restaurant. The menu was a celebration of white fish rolls smothered in a piquillo pepper puree and accompanied by sesame-marinated tomatoes, followed by strong coffee and Eau de ma Tante, which translates as my aunt’s water, a fruity liqueur distilled with Dutch and Belgium cherries, soaked in brandy.

Restaurant Week gives you the opportunity to enjoy the very best restaurants Amsterdam has to offer at an irresistible price: set three-course meal for € 25 (dinner) or € 20 (lunch). These three course menus are sure to tempt your taste buds.

Book a reservation now, because available places in participating Amsterdam restaurants fill up quickly. Restaurant week runs the first week of March and is a great opportunity to try a new place or visit an old favourite to sample their new menu.

WHEN: 1-7 March 2010
WHERE: List of participating restaurants
WHAT: Set three-course meal for € 25 (dinner) or € 20 (lunch)
Indicate on the online reservation form any dietary restriction, vegetarian, allergies, glutton free etc.

The Dorrius Restaurant is an old canal-style house and fully incorporated in Crowne Plaza Hotel at Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 5. (map)
