Vinitaly US Tour Miami and Palm Beach 2010
Experience everything Italian at this year’s VinItaly. Taking place at multiple locations in South Florida, VinItaly US Tour Miami and Palm Beach will highlight some of the best Italian wines of the region. In addition to being able to sample wine from over 100 wineries, guests will be able to meet the winemakers, participate in guided wine tastings, olive oil tastings and more.
This year’s event will take place at:
Fontainebleau Hotel, Miami Beach – February 8, 2010
W Hotel, Miami Beach - February 9, 2010
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Palm Beach – February 10, 2010
During the 3-day event, guests will be able to interact with local sommeliers and wine experts, learning the history of this incredible wine-producing region.
Here is the schedule –
February 8, Miami:
11:00 am: Guided Wine Tasting: Consorzio Franciacorta, Consorzio Friuli Grave, Consorzio Castel del Monte
12:30pm: “Wines of the Marche Region” – a selection of wines from the Marche Region in coordination with Istituto Marchigiano di Tutela Vini.
2:30pm: E.V.O.O. (extra virgin olive oil) guided tasting: “I.O.O.% Italian Quality” presented by UNAPROL – Consortium of Italian Olive Oil Producers
February 10, Palm Beach:
3:00pm: E.V.O.O. guided tasting: “I.O.O.% Italian Quality” presented by UNAPROL – Consortiun of Italian Olive Oil Producers
The doors open to the general public for a portion of the event, and is a perfect opportunity for wine lovers to partake in this wine tasting experience. The hours for the public are:
Monday, February 8 — 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Wednesday, February 10 — 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach

Cost for the general public is $20, but if you give the code DINE when purchasing your tickets, you will save $10.
