The Kitano’s February Is For Lovers Package’

Brought to you by NYC’s only fully Japanese owned hotel, the Kitano’s “February is for Lovers” package rises above the sea of Valentine’s packages offered at other hotels.  And this one is good throughout the entire month of February!

Cold Weather Seasonal Kaiseki

Package includes:

  • Accommodations for 2 in either a luxurious Junior Suite or one of the hotel’s exclusive Townhouse Suites
  • A bottle of Mumm Cordon Rouge Champagne
  • A full American breakfast for 2 in the Garden Café Restaurant
  • And… if you’re staying on Valentine’s Day weekend (February 12 and 13), you’ll be serenaded by the music of the Eric Alexander Quartet who will perform a selection of love song ballads in the Bar Lounge.

Even better, these amenities are offered in a top quality 149 guest room hotel in historic Murray Hill, one of Manhattan’s best neighborhoods right on Park Avenue.

Elegant one-bedroom Townhouse Suites are located in a 19th Century town home owned by the hotel and connected via an interior hallway.  A large bay window beckons in the oversize living room of one of the suites while three sound-proof dormer windows offer dramatic and quiet views of the bustling city below.

The Junior Suites feature flat screen plasma televisions, pillow-top mattresses custom-designed for the hotel, plush white down-filled pillows, European duvets, and gold satin throws.

Every suite features marble baths with large soaking tubs and an eclectic book collection of New York themes ranging from Edith Wharton to Al Hirschfeld.  Perfect for cozying up on what’s sure to be a frigid NYC winter night.

My favorite onsite dining option, and true to their Japanese roots, Hakubai Restaurant features authentic Kaiseki cuisine made with only the freshest seasonal ingredients served in the dining room and via room service.

Rates start at just $459 per room, per night (plus tax).

From Grand Central, walk 4 blocks south on Park Ave. to #66
