Last Minute Valentine’s Day Weekend Deals/Packages

Okay, did you drop the ball on planning a Valentine’s Day weekend getaway?

Well, don’t worry, there’s still time (not too much though) to make some plans for a quick getaway. Check out these deals/packages available in different destinations throughout the South.

• Through February 19, you and your companion can enjoy a special rate at Majestic Beach Resort (map) in Panama City Beach, Fla. Their Valentine’s Day package also includes $50 gift certificate to the restaurant, Firefly (map).
• A romantic getaway doesn’t have to be limited to a specific weekend. The Hilton Garden Inn BWI Airport (map) in Linthicum, Md., has the Romance Package (available through October 1) that features early check-in, full breakfast for two and more.
• Mountain Laurel Bed and Breakfast (map) in Mentone, Ala., also believes that romance should be celebrated anytime. Their “I Love You” package is available throughout the year. It features roses, sparkling cider with special Mountain Laurel Flutes or Wine glasses and other amenities.
• The Gaylord Resorts’ (Dallas, Nashville, Orlando and D.C.) “Remember Romance” package is available throughout the entire month of February. The package includes a romantic welcome amenity, breakfast for two and other goodies.
