Bronte Restaurant In Montreal- Very Hip
Had dinner last night with clients and a colleague at . What a find! The food was very good, and reasonably priced. The best part however was the service. Don’t you hate it when you go to a restaurant and people never leave you alone? You are bothered every five minutes, the meal is rushed, you feel more like a number- it happens all the time. Not here.
We sat at our table and were left to chat for a comfortable couple of minutes before we were offered drinks. No wine list was presented instead a wine sommelier came over, asked us what we liked, and offered up a taste of something fantastic. Service like that is worth it’s weight in gold! After we ordered we were brought something complimentary from the chef. Portions were a good size, not huge but not tiny. The food presentation was unique, not over done, more understated.
We were allowed to eat our meal in comfort. We weren’t rushed, offered coffee/tea dessert too quickly. Once we had ordered and finished dessert, we were left alone. We talked for a long time before we were asked, very politely if we wanted anything else. There is a fine line between attentive service and being rushed or abandoned. The folks at Bronte have mastered that balance.
Next time in , check out Bronte! You can book a table with our friends at OpenTable

Thank you! Always good to find new places in my hometown, and this one is just minutes from my doorstep. Looking forward to trying it out.
I’ll definitely check it out the next time I’m there.
