Photo Op: Winter Storm Hits Arizona

Take a moment to reflect on this serene photo of Flagstaff during a past winter storm.

Today, Flagstaff has reported nearly 3 1/2 feet of snow with another 2 feet or more expected.  This storm has affected Phoenix and Tucson with record-breaking rainfall causing flash floods and many local roads and freeway closures.  This has been the worst winter storm to hit Arizona in 17 years with our governor declaring a state of emergency.

Bet you never thought we could have such dramatic weather conditions in Arizona.  It looks like a long weekend indoors to escape our crazy weather.  Wherever you are in the state, either drain the excess water in your pool or pull out your snow blower.  It’s gonna be a bumpy ride!
