Let’s Dance! STREET LIGHTS at The Old Globe

The Old Globe located in the heart of  Balboa Park hosts Tony Award-winning shows has stood as San Diego’s flagship arts institution for over 70 years.

STREET LIGHTS, directed by Kristin Hanggi , music and lyrics by Joe Drymala and choreographed by RJ Durell, makes the musical attracted to the younger audience. Street Lights is Currently an Official Selection of the
New York Musical Theatre Festival.
STREET LIGHTS fuses hi-hop, R&B and pop to tell a story about a group of students who discover the power of music to unite their community and bring new hope to the residents of their troubled neighborhood. The talented singer and songwriter, J’Nae recruits her fellow students to use organizing techniques pioneered during the civil rights movement to inspire leaders to reject the status quo and strive for something better. CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE.
