Guerilla Gigs Make Short Films in Sydney

Musicians have been turning up in the strangest of Sydney locations lately. Instead of hanging out at The Annandale or The Vanguard, they’ve been giving unplugged performances in tattoo parlours and bakeries.

The impromptu gigs are part of a new film project by Sydney’s based Shoot the Player. Their 100 short films are now on show at Carriageworks, just in case you missed them the guerilla gigs the first time around. You can watch the quick gigs, which feature the likes of Sarah Blasko, Ben Lee, and Bob Evans on the big screen or a private listening pod.

And best of all, unlike your average rock show this exhibition is completely free! For a taste, click here to see Bob Evans performing “Don’t You Think It’s Time” outside the Bourke Street Bakery.
