The Dakar 2010 Was a Success!
The 2010 edition of the wrapped up here in this past weekend. This facinating endurance sent hundreds of competitors roaring across the of and for two weeks.
There was lots of dust, dirt, blood and one fatality, but that is par-for-the-course for the famous , which took place here in South America for the second time after organizers deemed Africa too dangerous because of security threats.
The race dominated here. Argentines and Chileans enthusiastically embraced the competition, and thousands lined up along the race route to cheer. The media coverage was outstanding.
The bottom line is that the event was a total success and we are hoping to have it back next year.
