Central Terminal Sea-Tac Airport

Central Terminal at Sea-Tac Airport

If your travel plans call for lengthy ground time at Sea-Tac International Airport, chances are you’ll be spending some time in the Central Terminal.  Creating an open gathering spot at the airport, the centerpiece of the 60,000 square foot area is a 60-foot glass wall and ceiling, often making it feel more like outdoors than indoors.  The glass wall looks out at the tarmac and runway making it a great spot to watch all the take off and landings.

Spend some time strolling through the Pacific Marketplace, a street scene straight out of the Northwest that’s full of shops, restaurants, landscapes, and public art.  A few of my favorite stops would be picking up a bottle of wine at Vino Volo, looking for a unique gift at Fireworks, shopping for practical and stylish travel wear at Ex Officio, and grabbing a bite to eat at Kathy Casey’s Dish D’Lish.

Do you have a favorite spot in the Central Terminal?
