Official Super Bowl XLIV Events in Miami

There’s no better place to be for the Super Bowl this year than in Miami. For those of us who live down here, we couldn’t be luckier. From the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam to Game Day Sunday, now is the time to get in the football spirit. What will you be doing for the Super Bowl? Here are some of the official events —

  • Clematis by Night, Super Bowl Celebration – This will be a nice change from the typical Clematis by Night, and perfect for the Palm Beach fans. Make your way down to Clematis Street for a night of live entertainment — featuring Starship with Mickey Thomas performing — and spend the evening with a selection of Pro football players, NFL cheerleaders and marching bands and participate in the interactive sports spectacular. Thursday, February 4, 5-10 pm
  • Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam - While the rest of the country can watch this on VH1, we can see the excitement live. Kevin Dillon an Nancy O’Dell will host this free concert featuring performances by Grammy Award winning artist, Rihanna and teen sensation, Justin Bieber. This event will take place on Thursday, February 4 at 5pm on South Beach at 8th and Ocean. Tickets are free, but must be ordered through Ticketmaster.
  • Super Bowl Saturday NightThis free event builds up the excitement for Game Day. Taking place in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday night, February 6, fans will gather together for a live, outdoor concert followed by a 20-minute fireworks display. Gates open at 4pm. This event will take place on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale, adjacent to Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel, 1140 Seabreeze Blvd. The first show will start at 6pm.
  • Taste of the NFL – The top chefs from every NFL city will pair up with the great players for this strolling wine and gourmet food event to help raise money for the nation’s food banks. In addition to tantalizing our taste buds with great gourmet delights, the Barenaked Ladies will be performing. Tickets to this event are $500 and $600 for VIP. The event takes place at Broward County Convention Center on Saturday, February 6 starting at 7pm (6pm for VIP). Buy your tickets today.
  • Of course, if you were lucky enough to score tickets, nothing beats spending the Super Bowl at Land Shark Stadium. Cheer on your favorite team, get a little crazy and listen to the Who during the spectacular halftime performance. February 7, 2010
