Blast Off at the Space Center

Space Center Houston is the official center for NASA’s Johnson Space Center where visitors can go on a space journey to experience human adventures in space. The museum features tons of exhibitions and attractions, including the most popular; Blast Off. The Blast Off Theater is the only place in the world where you can experience the excitement of getting launched into space in a rocket ship. This attraction is more than just a movie; rocket boosters make you really feel like you are getting launched into space with other effects like billowing exhaust from the engines.

Living In Space is another popular exhibition where guests get the chance to try to land a shuttle or retrieve a satellite by manipulating interactive computer simulators. The audience also learns how astronauts deal with their daily tasks such as showering, sleeping, and eating in space. There is also a NASA Tram Tour, which is a tour through NASA’s Johnson Space Center where the historic and the current Mission Control Centers are located and much more. If you are lucky, you will even get to see real astronauts training for an upcoming mission into space.
