Earn a Disney Day or Win a Disney Vacation

After the expense of the holidays, nothing sounds better than a free trip. And frankly a free trip to one of the Disney Resorts sounds great, anytime. There are currently many chances to win a Disney vacation from various sources and through various methods. family gathering

Here is a listing of some of the contests:

  • If your family likes to volunteer, share your story from one of  your experiences in giving back with Disney Family.com, up to 5000 characters, and you could win a trip to Walt Disney World Resort for your family.  Even if you don’t win the trip, you are a winner for volunteering!
  • Not actually a vacation, but this Honda Insight EX Hybrid could drive you to your next trip.  Enter the Tink my Ride sweepstakesand you just might have a chance to win a new car with optional Tinkerbell decorations, or a Gibson guitar autographed by Disney Channel star, Demi Lovato, video games, or a magazine subscription.  For a free car, even I would drive one around with wings on the roof!
  • A previous post mentioned this sweepstakes, but as it relates to helping others and the year-long Disney promotion of Give a Day, Get a Disney Day, the Cheers to Volunteers Sweepstakes bears repeating.

Remember, Disney’s 2010 promotion aimed at families volunteering for others, will grant one free, one park admission ticket per family member who signs up for a day of volunteering for a designated charity, completes said task and is acknowledged by the charity for the work.

While not actually a contest, the prize package here is actually two prizes in one – the satisfaction of helping others, as well as a complimentary day at a Disney theme park. Family members must be at least 6 years old to participate.

When searching for an activity for my family to complete together, I discovered many unique and interesting opportunities, but very few for younger participants.  My family chose Project Linus and together we will be making blankets for children who are ill or in need of some comfort.  If you don’t see an activity that fits your family, check often as projects are constantly being added.

Win a full vacation of fun or earn a free Disney day, the chances and choices are yours.
