A New Blank Calendar Full of The Best Disney Events

I love January for one thing… a new, clean, blank calendar.  A calendar that is not marked with meetings, appointments and commitments.  I love the idea that all those fun things you were “going to do” the year before, but couldn’t squeeze into the agenda, suddenly seem doable once again on this year’s calendar.blank calendar

Before your calendar becomes filled with dentist appointments, PTA meetings and little league sporting events, might I suggest you pencil a few things in that you really must do?

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival  turns Future World and World Showcase of Epcot (map) alive with over 30 million blooms in artful flower beds and whimsical topiaries.  What more would you expect from  300 acres that for 17 years have welcomed  awe inspired gardening enthusiasts?

Live music fans love the Flower Power concerts featuring top named entertainers, like last year’s performers.  Shows are performed three times nightly.

Need more information about these events, activities and gardening programs, most of which are included in your admission to Epcot? Call 407-W-DISNEY or hop online.

Out of this world excitement takes place over a series of weekends, during the Star Wars Weekends, held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (map)  This annual space-related event celebrates the Star Wars Saga.

Full of special shows, memorabilia, celebrity visits, these weekends are a must for any Star Wars fan. Come face to face with droids, aliens and other favorite star wars characters, while young fans learn the skill of light-saber fighting.

Mark your calendars now, but with many surprises yet to be announced, look for future updates and schedules.  You can bet your wookiee, you won’t be disappointed.

Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is by far my most favorite special event that takes place at Walt Disney World.  Held each fall at Epcot theme park, this event is a feast for the senses with food tastings, regional wines and beer, and live music concerts.  I can’t wait for the release of  the concert schedule or more information on the food booths.

Go ahead, the calendar is wide open, why not schedule at least one of these great Disney events on yours.  A word of warning however, with so much more to come  including sporting events all throughout the year, marathon weekends Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in the autumn, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Celebrations next winter at Magic Kingdom theme park (map), you just might need another new calendar.
