– Feel the excitement at Florida’s only drive through safari, located 20 miles west of downtown West Palm Beach. Pack a group in the car and get prepared to visit this wildlife preserve. It is home of over 900 animals. You will encounter the familiar lions, elephants and tigers and the more exotic animals like the Gemsbok, Blackbuck and Eland. In addition to the drive through safari, this popular destination is also home to over 200 campsites, a restaurant, a gift shop, a ferris wheel, a petting zoo and bird, reptile, and alligator exhibits.

Great article and fun suggestions. I have to admit that I took friends and their kids to our local amusement park and we all had a blast. I also remember visiting a drive-thru safari park in Georgia and still laugh every time I think about it.
