Disney on Ice Presents “Worlds of Fantasy”
There’s nothing like a Disney production to put a smile on your child’s face. Their current Disney on Ice show, “Worlds of Fantasy” features four Disney stories with an array of popular characters from Disney/Pixar’s “Cars” and Disney’s “Tinker Bell,” “The Lion King” and “The Little Mermaid.”
It begins with Mickey and Minnie on a road trip happily crossing the country until their red convertible breaks down. Don’t you hate that? Well, as you can imagine chaos ensues, but in the world of Disney it’s a good thing. The whole gang including Simba and Scar from “The Lion King,” Ariel, “The Little Mermaid” and Tinkerbell come to their rescue. You get the idea.
For the little princess in your household, you must consider the Disney Princess Pre-Show scheduled before each performance. It’s a mini event showcasing an exclusive collection of ball gowns and mementos from the Disney Princess stories, as well as an appearance by a Disney Princess.
For more insight on the show, here is a recent review from Paul Hodgins of the Orange County Register. He provides a first hand account of bringing his 7-year-old niece to the show in which she was rendered speechless by the performance.
