New Web Site Offers Great Savings in Chicago

If one of your New Year’s Resolutions is to save money, then YouSwoop.com – a new Chicago “deals” Web site is something you need to know about. Money

Founded by Alexander Lurie who also launched the TheChiGuide.com, YouSwoop.com, partners with hundreds of local businesses, giving Chicago residents and visitors the chance to take advantage of discounted deals; sneak-peaks; special events admissions; and other rewards from various industries including food and hospitality; health and beauty; sports and events; and services and retail.

“YouSwoop was created to add a daily jolt of excitement to deal-seekers’ lives,” said Lurie. “We believe everyone should have the opportunity to affordably explore the city and our amazing deals help make that happen. It’s a great site for locals and out-of-towners alike.”

YouSwoopHow YouSwoop.com Works
YouSwoop.com works by encouraging people to sign up with their e-mail, after which they will receive a special message directly to their inbox each day notifying them of the daily deal and the time left to “swoop in” to purchase it using a credit or debit card.

“YouSwoop is a terrific, easy-to-use resource for experiencing Chicago at 50%-95% off,” said Lurie. “Each day, YouSwoop features one incredible, can’t-miss offer on great things to do, eat, or buy in Chicago. Once the offer has been announced, it’s up to you to swoop in and grab it before it’s gone. If the deal is not for you, check back tomorrow for a new deal.”

YouSwoop.com Partners
YouSwoop.com has secured a number of partners including Bull and Bear, Red Canary, District, Cocoro Sushi, Salute Wine Bar & Café, Life by Design personal training, Platinum Smiles Dental, Aniko Spa and Salon, Verto Spa, and more.

How YouSwoop.com is Different from Its Competitors
Different than Groupon, another online deal company, YouSwoop doesn’t require a minimum number of purchases to activate each day’s deal. “When Groupon sells thousands upon thousands of a single deal, the individual is tasked with trying to redeem their Groupon,” said Lurie. “Our deals are available to anyone and everyone. There are no group purchase minimums required.”

Not only does YouSwoop offer deals, it goes a step further to “sweeten the reward for consumers.” According to Lurie, for each dollar spent, the consumer earns another Swoop rewards point, which can be traded in for free gift certificates.

An Even Better 2010 for YouSwoop.com
To show how creative YouSwoop.com got in 2009, to celebrate its launch, the site hosted a $100,000 Facebook sweepstakes in which it gave away $100,000 worth of gift certificates and prizes to some of Chicago’s best businesses. YouSwoop.com also drove a truck around Chicago’s business district, loaded with a cash-dispensing box that “first-on-the-scene” YouSwoop.com followers “swooped” up as much cash as fast as they could.

Lurie says the deals will get even sweeter after the New Year. While he can’t reveal the full details on the new addition to YouSwoop.com, he did say, “Very soon, we’re going to be launching a new program on YouSwoop that will reward the consumer in yet another way beyond the great deals and rewards points they already get. It’s a totally unique offering that isn’t being done by anyone else.”

Stay tuned…
