Breaking News! The Argentine Reciprocal Fee Starts Tomorrow
Effective December 28, 2009, the Argentine Immigration Office is implementing an Argentine Reciprocity Fee, for Canadian, US and Australian Nationals arriving in Argentina.
- US$70, for Canadian Nationals; valid for one entry only
- US$131, for United States Nationals; valid for ten years
- US$100, for Australian Nationals; valid for one entry only
Payment must be made on arrival at booths positioned in the immigration arrivals hall using either cash, ARS, credit card or travellers’ cheques. At this time, the fee is only applied at Buenos Aires (EZE) Airport.
The following are exempt from this fee:
- Flight crew
- Canadian, Australian or US citizens with legal residence in Argentina
- Canadian, Australian or US citizens holding passports with an Argentine consular visa
- Canadian, Australian, US citizens holding official or diplomatic passports
