Let the Magic of Disney Into Your Living Room Christmas Day
Let the magic of Disney into your living room this Christmas, as the 26th Annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade will broadcast from both coasts and air on ABC-TV on December 25th.
Showcasing at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resorts, this televised holiday extravaganza will be full of celebrity performances, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ talent, Disney Channel pop stars and appearances by Disney’s favorite characters.
Hosted by two of televisions popular celebrities, morning talk show personality, Kelly Rippa will return to host the Walt Disney World parade, while television and radio host, Ryan Seacrest, will anchor the Disneyland festivities. Making his debut as the parade’s “man-on-the-street” will be television host, Nick Cannon.
Aboard holiday-themed floats, Mickey Mouse, all his pals and beloved princesses will embrace the season as they glide down Main Street at the Disney theme parks. The famed Toy Soldiers will lead the way and who can resist those adorable canine stars of the “Buddies” movies. Mickey and Minnie Mouse ride on their float sharing their festivly decorated Christmas tree.
Speaking of trees, the Seven Dwarfs have been busy in the mines to decorate Snow White’s tree adorned with jewels. Phineas and Ferb will make their parade debut at the Disneyland theme park and making his last stop before a well deserved vacation will be Santa Claus and his reindeer, sharing good wishes to all.
Throughout the parade, award-winning artists and chart-topping talent will share in the merriment with performances at both parks. Though subject to change, the scheduled talent includes:

Stevie Wonder with his daughter, Aisha Morris and Minnie Mouse perform
- Ten-time Grammy winner, Celine Dion
- Singer/songwriter, Stevie Wonder
- Disney Channel stars Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lovato
- American Idol winner, Kris Allen
- Tony Award-winner and voice of Princess Tiana, Anika Noni Rose will sing along with dancers, Tony Dovolani and Cheryl Burke
- College favorites, USC Marching Band and Florida A&M University Strikers
I plan to leave the wrapping paper scattered across the floor, gather up the family and watch as this two-hour televised special will air nationally beginning 10 a.m. Eastern time and 9 a.m. Central, Mountain and Pacific times.
