New Years Eve in Lisbon

If you haven’t decided yet about your New Years Eve in Lisbon, this may help you choose between a fun evening along with the locals in the streets or a more private one with your loved ones:

 

 

Torre de Belém

Torre de Belém (map) gardens will be hosting concerts and fireworks for 2009/2010 New Years Eve. 2010 will star with one of Portugal’s historic rock band, Xutos e Pontapés.

Starts at 22h with a Beatles tribute band. At midnight it’s expected some great fireworks over the river.

Parque das Nações

A similar event will be taking place on the other side of town, at Parque das Nações (map). The fireworks will be held for around 10 minutes, through over 500 meters on water platforms…

It will start at 21h30 with music and stand up comedy. After midnight, Deolinda will sing here different Fados.
